Sales Intangible No 3:
“Personal Accountability and Change Management”
Intangible No. 3 is “Personal Accountability
and Change Management.” Please note that we’re
focusing on personal accountability, not others’
accountability. Personal accountability is being 100 percent
responsible for your actions. Accountability is also eliminating
blame, complaining, procrastination, victim thinking,
and finger pointing from both your professional life and
your personal life.
The world is ever changing, and you must be able to adapt,
or you’re going to be left behind. You need to develop
a solution mindset, not a mindset that creates problems
by playing the blame game.
Continuously ask, “How can I be more productive
right now?” and “How can I best adapt to the
changing world around me?” When you continuously
ask yourself these questions, you’re going to find
the answers within yourself.
You’re going to begin to develop a solution mindset,
so when problems arise instead of pointing fingers and
trying to find solutions elsewhere, you’re going
to be able to present a solution and solve many more problems
much quicker.
